Those terms are quite questionable and courts are loathe to enforce such restrictive terms. I’d say, contest that and drive it all you want. I would!

“The Batmobile may be driven solely when necessary for maintenance purposes and may never be driven while in public view.”

That’s the escape clause. The new owner can drive it pretty much wherever he wants as long as he stops for gas and a wash along the way.

(That’s the biggest cell antenna I have ever seen!)

so, you can’t use it, show it, or run it in public view. You also can’t resell it without express permission from the previous owner.

I don’t get it, did Warner start DRM’ing cars?

297,000? Are you kidding? Thats a steal compared to the Batman Returns car that was in Monterey, California this year. I was working at the car auction it was at, and it had a sticker price of 600,000. If memory serves me right it didn’t quite get that high, but it DID pass the half-million mark.

I believe that more than half of those terms will fail in a court.

Especially the one about leasing or selling.

Ouch, $300k and the conditions take all of the fun out of it. Not worth it in my opinion.
