Apparently Hartge thought that 306 hp are not enough for the BMW 135i, so they’ve decided to create a tuning program for the small German coupe. By installing an upgraded ECU, Hartge engineers managed to take the 3.0 liter turbo engine up to 350 hp at 5660 rpm and 480 Nm (lb-ft 354) at 2950 rpm. This means that the BMW 135i sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.8 seconds (5.3 seconds for the production version) and up to a top speed of 280 km/h (174mph).
The aerodynamic kit features a new front spoiler lip, roof spoiler, lip for boot lid, rear diffuser and side sills, plus a set of 20 inch CLASSIC 2 aluminium wheels. Other accessories include a decal set in metallic anthracite, a set of carbon (silver or black) casings for exterior mirrors, emblems for the bonnet and boot lid and a HARTGE insignia. With several modifications made to the interior too, the BMW 135i by Hartge is priced at €48,162.14, excluding VAT.
