Remeber the “I,Robot” movie starring Will Smith and the magnificient Audi RSQ? Not sure about the movie, but we definitely loved the concept car. And apparently so did this guy, who took his first generation Audi TT and modified it to the extreme, creating this car, which looks pretty much to the RSQ concept from the movie.

Though Audi’s at the second TT generation, the first one was a really impressive car which created a lot of buzz at its launch in 1999 and its still a magnificent car. Though usually we’re not big fans of this extreme tunings, we loved the RSQ and the TT in these photos really got us into a dilema. Cool or not? One thing’s for sure, the care sure will make heads turn on the street.

Even though this bodykit for the Audi TT looks very cool, making the coupe look a lot like the R8 supercar, I really don’t see the point in this. I mean, who would do this? Ok, I don’t have enough money to get an R8, but the last thing I would want is people knowing that. I don’t know, it’s like buying a regular Lancer (as Jeremy Clarkson once wrote: everyone will know you wanted the Evo, but couldn’t afford it). The same here.

But, anyway, that’s just my 2 cents. The bodykit was created by tuning company Niche and it features R8 inspired bodykit, lowered suspension, alloy rims and new exhaust tips, all that at £8,800 ($18,500 or €12,600). More photos after the jump.

Yeah, it might look like a crazy thing to say, but it’s true. The Audi TT, a cool car otherwise, can carry around your tools or cement bags, but it cannot swim. Here’s a ‘making of’ video from a photo shoot for the Intersection Magazine in which an Audi TT is dropped into a swimming pool. Enjoy the video!

The first question that crossed my mind when I saw the photos was “Why the hell would you do that to a TT?”. I mean probably the last thing Audi designers thought of was to use the TT to carry around paint or cement. But that’s not what these guys think. View more photos after the jump.

The German tuner Nothelle presented a 520 hp version of the Audi TT. The small beast is powered by a bi-turbo version of Audi’s 3.2-litre V6 that now produces 520Hp (the series version has 250 hp) and maximum torque from 320Nm to a breathtaking 635Nm. According to Nothelle, this engine takes the TT to a top speed of 308 km/h (191 mph).

The German tuner upgraded the suspension system with a set of sport springs that lower body height about 25 mm, plus an aerodynamic kit that includes a three-piece front spoiler as well as other front apron air intakes (Double Frames), side sill elements, a rear apron, 20-inch rims and a 3-part rear spoiler. The modifications are available for both Coupe and Roadster versions.

It looks like Audi will be revealing the Audi TT Club Sport Quattro Concep at the Wörthersee tuner show in Austria. The car is a concept study based on the Audi TT Roadster and uses the Porsche 356 Speedster as inspiration for its design. The concept has no top and no rear view mirrors, instead relying on a small windshield and side mirrors that have the turn indicators embedded within. Also new is the front end, now with a huge grille.

Under the hood lies a modified version of the 2.0 TFSI engine found in the S3, now developing 300hp with the help of a larger turbo. Audi’s S-tronic dual-clutch transmission handles shifting duties, while the brakes have been upgraded to carbon ceramic units.
