On May 9th, the Speed Racer movie will hit cinemas and it looks like an interesting movie. Based on the classic 1960’s Japanese animated series chronicling the aspirations of a young race car driver as he attempts to obtain glory, with the help of his family and the Mach 5, the advanced car created by his father. The movie is directed by the famous Wachowski brothers who directed the Matrix trilogy. Here are some shots taken on the set of Angelina Jolie’s next movie, Wanted and we can see Angelina doing some stunts on the front hood of a Dodge Viper. Scheduled to be released on March 28, 2008, the movie presents the story of a young man who tries to find out the reasons his father was murdered and track down the assassins. The movie also stars James McAvoy and Morgan Freeman.

No official information, but it seems that a new “Fast and Furious” movie will be made. With rumors saying that it will be released somewhere around next summer, the movie’s action will be set in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will feature actors from the first parts, like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson or Lucas Black. As for the other stars of the movie, the cars, it seems that we’ll see a 1970 Dodge Charger, the new Dodge Challenger plus classic South American muscle cars like the Chevrolet Opala.
