Honestly, the production version of the Opel Antara was a big disappointment after the mega cool Antara concept. Still, with time, I got used to the crossover from Opel and I can actually say that it’s quite an interesting car. And the German tuner Irmscher made it even more interesting, with this tuning program.
The main attraction of this car is it’s appearance and for that, Irmscher gave it a more aggressive look, plus a lot of sporting accessories. Powered by a 2.0 liter CDTi engine, which now develops 175 hp, the Opel Antara Irmscher is lowered by 30 mm and has got a restyled bumper, new Irmscher grille, new front skirt, modified tailgate spoiler, redesigned bumpers, body-colored side panels and new steel entry sills, plus the impressive light-weight ‘Evo-Star-Design’ 20-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the customers have a lot of options to choose from, like the exclusive hand-crafted leather or Alcantara contoured seats, leather multi-function steering wheel, plus a metal plaque that celebrates Irmscher’s 40th anniversary.
