Announced last year, now we have a new video and more details released about Audi’s latest product, the Audi Q7 V12 TDI. V12 engines are not something new, but this is the first time a 12-cylinder diesel is presented on a passenger car. The 6.0 liter engine develops 500 hp (368 kW) and 1,000 Nm of torque (737.56 lb-ft) and is mated to a six-speed tiptronic transmission. Equipped with these, the car achieves some really impressive numbers: 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds, an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph) and 11.3 liters/100 km (20.82 US mpg) average fuel consumption, which is sounds really good, considering the car’s size and performances.
Check out more photos and the video after the jump.
