The F 700 looks like a bent tired BANANA with bulging eyes and an oversized grill, from the aftermarkt bin. Who the hell designed this thing? BMW can sleep well!!

Even if it looks weird at the first sight, the F700 looks elegant, though.

Just because it has a TAR it does not make this thing beautiful. I wonder what comments would be if this design had a KIA badge?

Interesting point Toby, but still, I find this design elegant…weird, yes, but elegant.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the negative comments. Fantastic technology packaged in bad taste. Supposedly Mercedes calls this “Aqua Styling” Maybe because the thing looks like a dead whale ready to sink to the bottom of the Ocean……

Just some Automobile Designer gossip, and why the F700 is so nauseatingly bad!!! I just happen to know a Gorden Wagener who is supposedly responsible for this ugly thing. / A few years ago Mr. Wagener was almost fired from Volkswagen Design and fled to Mercedes./
I read something about the design theme on this show car being AQUA DYNAMICS !?! I agree with DesignGuru, this AQUABLOB belongs on the bottom of the Ocean!
By the way, this styling aberration was unanimously voted by the press as the biggest disappointment of the Frankfurt Motorshow.
We are going to see some ghastly Benzes if hotshot Gorden Wagener is given the powers to make any decisions at MB design.
Sorry, to disappoint you Vlad…..

I didn’t know that Designer, but that doesn’t change my opinion. I mean I don’t want to change your’s, I respect it, just that I find it elegant :) And thanks for the comment.
