Ford Mustang to be K.I.T.T. in the next Knight Rider

K.I.T.T. Knight Rider

After a lot of speculation, Jalopnik dropped the bomb today and announced what will be the mystery car to play K.I.T.T. in the next Knight Rider movie and that is the Shelby GT500 King of the Road, based on the Ford Mustang. Frankly, I’m not that thrilled about the Mustang, because I don’t know if its ‘fierce’ looks is right for K.I.T.T. I mean, I can’t imagine a Mustang saying “Hello, Michael!” as good as the original Pontiac Firebird did. And here are also a few Photoshopped pics of a GT500 KR to get a better idea how the K.I.T.T. will look like. What do you think about it? Is it a good choice? Feel free to leave a comment here.

KITT has to be a pontiac. I like Mustangs, but this can only hurt the brand when the movie fails. I guess Ford was the highest bidder. Ah…greed.

i think they sould use a new firebird since this is an up to date remake and since the older style movie had a old firebird. thats what i think dont change the car just cause the show is being remade come on now lets think a lil
