After some time ago we presented some leaked photos of the Honda Fit or Jazz (in Europe), the Japanese producer decided to come out and made a press release in which officially announced that the car will be available in Japan next week, starting Friday, October 26 followed by a worldwide release in the first half of 2008.
So, what changed in the new Fit? Well, the car grew in length 55 mm (+2.2-inches) to 3,900 mm and in width 20 mm (+0.8-inches) to 1,695 mm. In Japan, the new Fit comes with two new engine options: a 100 Hp 1.3 liter i-VTEC or a 120 Hp 1.5 liter i-VTEC (which will also get an RS version which features revised suspension settings and sporty interior and exterior styling upgrades).
